Scientific discoveries about humans, Earth, technology and universe
Plan a visit
We want to inspire future generations! So that primary and secondary school students can be curious, investigate, think critically about the world around them and dream about how to make it better.
A large number of our educational exhibits are both interactive and fun. This is how we bring to life the scientific concepts that students learn about in the classroom. In addition, we organise lectures on current topics and interesting workshops.
The contents of the Palace of Science are designed to be interesting to different age groups, including primary and secondary school students, who can get acquainted with some of the most important scientific discoveries here and also take a peek into the world of innovations ahead of us.
The Palace of Science pays particular attention to STEAM content. Through the permanent exhibition, visiting exhibitions, the planetarium and the Show Lab, children can experience and see the state-of-the-art technologies at work. We want to motivate students to engage in science and choose careers in STEAM areas.
To organise a school visit, a group of more than 10 students is necessary. The teacher should announce the visit at least 24 hours before the planned arrival. The team of the Palace of Science is available for all questions, in order to make the tour as good as possible.
A small step on the chessboard, but a giant leap for science.
One of the significant breakthroughs in the development of artificial intelligence was the human-computer chess match in 1997, in which the IBM Deep Blue supercomputer defeated the world champion Garry Kasparov!
