Ballet and Physics – Science in Motion

A unique artistic-scientific event that brings together the seemingly incompatible – the elegance of ballet and the precision of physics – will take place on Wednesday, May 7 at 6:00 PM in the Šalter Hall, organized by the Palace of Science and BeoBallet.

Through a carefully choreographed performance by BeoBallet, you’ll have the chance to experience how the laws of nature – gravity, inertia, the law of action and reaction – come to life through movement. On stage, science and emotion, body and law, form and formula meet – in perfect harmony.

Special guest of the evening, Dr. Dejan Đokić from the Institute of Physics, will reveal how every pirouette, jump, and rotation is governed by precise mathematical formulas and universal laws – the same ones that apply from atoms to galaxies.

This event is open to everyone – lovers of art and science, and curious minds of all ages.

Join us as we discover that science isn’t confined to classrooms – it dances all around us.
