By exploring the application of robotics and programming in space missions, participants in this workshop will build and program LEGO robots that simulate autonomous systems used in the exploration of Mars and other celestial bodies. Through working with sensors, navigation algorithms, and data analysis, parents and children ages 5 to 10 will learn how robots adapt to the extreme conditions of space. During the workshop, we will answer questions such as: How do rovers navigate the rough terrain of Mars? How do space robots recognize obstacles and make decisions without the help of astronauts? Through fun challenges and simulations, we will explore how scientists and engineers design robots that explore distant worlds, search for signs of life, and build future space bases!
The workshop will be held in the Reč Hall.
