In the lecture ‘H-Bridges: The Serbian Student Team Reshaping the World of Energy as We Know It,’ we present an innovative educational model developed within the H-Bridges volunteer student team at the School of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how and why the team was founded, what its core objectives are, the principles it operates on, and the results it has achieved from its inception to the present day. Special emphasis will be placed on past successes and current projects, as well as how teamwork, a multidisciplinary approach, and a shared vision can lead to achievements recognized on an international level.
The lecture will aim to convey the energy and atmosphere of laboratory work, while demonstrating how student initiative, commitment, and an openness to collaboration can become a powerful driver of innovation. Established in 2017, the H-Bridges team has received numerous national and international awards. To date, four start-up companies have emerged from this environment, and the team itself has become established as a source of original ideas and practical solutions in the field of modern energy technologies. As part of their research and development activities, H-Bridges team members work on applying modern technologies in areas such as electric vehicles, renewable energy sources, data center power supply systems, and other advanced engineering applications.
The lecture is intended for students from various academic backgrounds, members of student organizations, young researchers, and anyone interested in discovering a best-practice example where knowledge, enthusiasm, and collaboration are transformed into concrete innovations. Admission is free.
