A book is not just a collection of pages – it is a window into a world of imagination, knowledge, and curiosity. But what happens when we share books? How can shared reading, giving, and exchanging books shape childhood, encourage literacy development, and motivate children to love reading? Why is sharing books important – in families, kindergartens, schools, and communities? How can we make books more accessible to all children? In this lecture, we will explore the answers to these and many other questions about supporting the development of (early) reading literacy.
