Intergalactic Challenge: LEGO Robotics and Coding

Step into the world of space robotics and programming! This workshop, designed for children over 10 years old, offers a unique opportunity to discover how robots assist in exploring distant planets through hands-on activities. Participants will build and program LEGO robots that simulate autonomous systems used in missions to Mars and other celestial bodies. By experimenting with sensors, navigation algorithms, and data analysis, children will learn how robots adapt to the extreme conditions of space. We will explore questions such as: How do rovers navigate the rough terrain of Mars? How do robots recognize obstacles and make decisions without human assistance? Through a series of interactive challenges and simulations, participants will step into the role of space engineers, learning how scientists design robots that explore unknown worlds, search for life, and prepare the groundwork for future space missions!

The workshop will be held in the Reč Hall.
