What lies hidden in the world all around us, invisible to the naked eye?
At the “On the Trail of Microbes” workshop, young explorers will set off on a playful quest through the “My Micro-World” exhibition. As they solve a series of tasks, they will follow clues on posters and a rotating panel, look through a microscope and explore 3D models. Each step will bring them closer to discovering their “mystery bacterium”, which they will then draw as they have seen it – and imagined it.
The workshop is intended for children aged 8 to 12.
The workshop will be led by Marija Sofilj, a student at the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade, who is involved in science communication and the development of educational content for children. She has gained experience through organising science events, interactive exhibitions, conferences and neuroscience workshops. She has designed and delivered numerous learning-through-play programmes and is the founder of “Mozgalište”, an educational platform dedicated to bringing science closer to children and parents.
Participation in the workshop is free, but places are limited, so registration via the link is required.
