On the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we invite you to an inspiring panel discussion with young women scientists who are shaping the future. In cooperation with the L’Oréal–UNESCO “For Women in Science” program, we will speak with three scientists from the fields of natural sciences and artificial intelligence.
Dr. Jelica Milošević, Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade, has focused her research on understanding and treating severe neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s disease. M.Sc. Milica Martinović, Faculty of Medicine, University of Niš, formulates modern, multifunctional dermocosmetic products designed not only to reduce visible signs of aging, but also to preserve skin function and balance, especially under conditions of chronic stress. Dr. Jelica Cincović, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade, focuses her research on defining the roles of artificial intelligence as a tool for disease diagnosis.
Although all three scientists work on important topics and strive to contribute through their research to a better and higher-quality life in the future, this time the focus of the discussion will not be on their scientific results. Through an open and motivating conversation, our speakers will share details of their personal journeys, the challenges women face in science, and how passion, perseverance, and support can pave the way to success in the world of science.
Admission is free, and registration is not required.
