Participants in the workshop will explore the basic principles of geometry and algorithmic thinking through hands-on work with LEGO robots. By programming the robot’s precise movements, they will learn how to use straight-line motion, rotations, and proportions to create geometric shapes such as squares, rectangles, triangles, and circles. Through joint activities with parents and children, they will be introduced to basic concepts such as angles in the coordinate system, perimeter, and area of shapes in a fun and engaging way. The youngest participants will develop logical thinking, apply previously acquired knowledge, and refine algorithms for accurately drawing various geometric shapes.
The workshop is designed for parents and children ages 5 to 10.
