To mark World Space Week, the Palace of Science invites you to a lecture by Branko Simonović, astronomy popularizer and a member of our team.
During this special evening in the planetarium, Simonović will take us on a journey through the key moments of the space race—from October 4, 1957, when the first artificial satellite was launched, through the first man in orbit and the Moon landing, up to today’s Mars missions and telescopes peering into the most distant parts of the universe.
The lecture will demonstrate that interest in space is not reserved only for scientists, as evidenced by the numerous interpretations and theories circulating in the public sphere. It is this very fascination with the unknown that shows how much the cosmos inspires and drives human imagination.
Admission is free, but seating is limited. Reserve your spot on time!
