XR Exhibition in Collaboration with the Beldocs Film Festival

The Palace of Science, in collaboration with the international documentary film festival Beldocs, presents two XR experiences that have been showcased at numerous festivals around the world. These immersive works push the boundaries of documentary storytelling, offering visitors a unique insight into intimate and complex human stories — through technology that engages all the senses and creates space for deeper reflection.

„All I Know About Teacher Li“ by Zhumo is an interactive virtual reality work about hope, activism, and perseverance. It tells the story of how a Chinese art student in Italy sparked one of the largest democratic protests in China by relentlessly sharing bad news on Twitter. The experience blends hand-drawn animation, 3D converted archival footage, and immersive interaction to place viewers within Teacher Li’s transformative journey and explore the global impact of social media activism.

„Remember This Place: 31°20′46″N 34°46′46″E“ is A virtual journey across many places threatened to be erased, as well as personal memories and visions of the future. It was co-created with some of the last Bedouin communities across historic Palestine whose livelihood and culture is threatened to this day. Throughout the journey, we meet women who are activists, architects, artists, and poets who are working to digitize their community’s heritage.

The XR exhibition is available in the VR zone (Center for Applied Artificial Intelligence) on the 2nd floor of the Palace of Science.

Entrance to the VR zone is free for visitors entering from Kneza Miloša Street.
