The charity concert by the mixed choir The International Belgrade Singers, taking place on Saturday, 20 December at the Palace of Science – Miodrag Kostić Endowment, has sold out ahead of the event, reflecting strong public interest.
The concert at the Palace of Science is part of the ensemble’s winter concert cycle. As a distinctive multicultural choir, The International Belgrade Singers brings together members of the diplomatic corps, the international community, and local choral music enthusiasts. The organisers note that all three announced winter concerts are fully sold out, underscoring broad support for both their artistic work and humanitarian mission.
Guided by the motto “Giving back to the community we live in,” The International Belgrade Singers will donate all proceeds from the three sold-out concerts to the Centre for the Development of Social Welfare Services “Kneginja Ljubica” in Kragujevac.
Over more than a decade of activity, the choir has supported numerous institutions caring for children across Serbia through its charitable work, including the Shelter for Children, the University Children’s Hospital in Tiršova, the Drop-in Centre for Children, and NURDOR.
The ensemble adds that audience interest has exceeded venue capacities and that, with the aim of performing in larger halls in 2026 and further increasing the scope of support, they are actively seeking general sponsors.
“Our main goal is to increase humanitarian support. Every donation means direct help for children in Serbia. We invite socially responsible companies to join us as general sponsors and support the choir’s mission so we can expand the reach of our charitable efforts,” the ensemble emphasises.
The choir is conducted by Olga Biserčić, and its repertoire includes works in numerous languages (English, French, German, Norwegian, Japanese, Swedish, Serbian, and others), fostering a recognisable, open, and multicultural atmosphere.
