Biological Clocks and Biomarkers of Aging

Can aging be measured more precisely than by the number of years? Modern science today shows that it can – through the data revealed by our bodies, biology, and cutting-edge technologies.

This very topic will be the focus of the lecture by Dr Minja Belić, a scientist from the Buck Institute in California. She will present the latest methods that combine biology and artificial intelligence to better understand the aging process and extend healthy lifespan.

Special emphasis will be placed on biological clocks, the twelve hallmarks of aging, innovative biomarkers, and the application of advanced AI algorithms – topics that are reshaping modern understanding of health, longevity, and quality of life.

The lecture is organized by the Innovation Center of the School of Electrical Engineering (ETF) and will be held at the Horizont Hall in the Palace of Science.

Admission is free.
