Natural Disasters

Natural disasters often sound frightening, but during your visit to the Palace of Science, you’ll have the chance to explore them in a safe and educational way. With the help of VR technology, children will experience an earthquake, volcanic eruption, and tornado—all within a controlled, secure environment.

These interactive experiences offer a unique opportunity to understand the powerful forces of nature that shape our world through play and learning. In the hands-on part of the workshop, participants will create a mini tornado in a jar and a model volcano that erupts—fun experiments that help explain basic atmospheric and geological phenomena through creativity.

The workshop is designed for children aged 7 to 15 and aims to spark curiosity, encourage logical thinking, and foster a better understanding of natural events.

The workshop will take place in the Atom Hall.
