Spend a night at the Palace of Science!
What does a night at the Palace of Science look like when the lights go out and curiosity begins to wake up?
For young explorers aged 7 to 9, the Palace of Science, in partnership with Children’s City, is organizing a unique overnight adventure — a science expedition dedicated to dinosaurs and the world of the distant past. The second in a series of Night Science Expeditions will take place on May 30, when 20 of the most curious adventurers will begin a time-travel journey precisely at 5:00 PM.
Throughout the evening, we will explore what Earth looked like in the age of dinosaurs, uncover the secrets of extinct species, and travel millions of years back in time through a planetarium projection. After an expedition filled with fossils, discoveries, and scientific challenges, we will head to a temporary camp in the Horizon Hall, where we will spend the night accompanied by stories of prehistoric worlds and great scientific discoveries. In the morning, after waking up, we will continue another stage of exploration, ending at 10:30 AM.
The Night Science Expedition includes expert guidance, two planetarium shows, creative workshops, and group games, complemented by snacks, dinner, and breakfast. Young explorers will spend the night in the Horizon camp, sleeping in sleeping bags while falling asleep to inspiring science stories.
At the end of the program, participants will receive a certificate of successful completion of the expedition.
