Arriving at the Palace of Science
No. There is no parking in front of the Palace of Science and the longer stopping of vehicles is not allowed.
Currently no, but we expect a bike rack to be installed in front of the entrance to the Palace of Science in the coming period.
No, they’re not intended only for children. The exhibits are designed to be equally interesting to primary and secondary school students, university students and adults. There is a special zone for children aged 5 to 7 – the Children’s Science Corner.
The exhibits are intended for children older than 5.
Opening hours are until 6 p.m. on Tuesdays to Fridays, and until 7 p.m. on weekends. The last recommended tour should start one hour before closing time, although the optimal time for the tour is two hours. Visitors can stay during the opening hours. Special events that are organised outside the opening hours of the exhibition space and the Planetarium represent an exception.
We recommend at least 2 hours for the tour so you can fully enjoy the exhibits.
Pets are not allowed.
Tickets
It is not possible to combine the discounts. For example, a group of 10 students either gets a discount on a group ticket, or each person in the group may buy an individual ticket in a preferential category.
Once you leave the exhibition area, you may not re-enter it with your old ticket. This also applies to the restaurant on the fifth floor – after entering the restaurant, you may not return to visit the exhibits.
All visitors are allowed access to the areas where the science centres are located, but not to the premises of the centres themselves, unless there is an event in progress that specifically opens their doors to visitors. Most of the science centres have transparent walls that allow insight into the activities of the science centres, and in addition, the research of the science centres is displayed in the Show Lab on the 4th floor.

Yes. There are several options for organizing events. Three conference rooms are available: a large one with 80 seats, as well as two smaller ones with a capacity of 30 seats each. A cocktail can be organized in the beautiful circular hall on the ground floor, outside the regular working hours of the Palace of Science. There is also an option to rent the Planetarium, both for hosting business events in an unusual setting and for celebrating children’s birthdays.
The Palace of Science activities are not intended for children younger than 5.
