Belgrade, 25 October 2024 – The Ministry of Education and the Miodrag Kostić Endowment signed a Cooperation Agreement at this year's Education Fair, which is being held in Belgrade. The planned cooperation will be implemented within the Palace of Science and aimed at the development and improvement of the education system, especially in the area of preschool, primary, secondary and higher education. It will also include support in the organization of camps for primary and secondary school students in the Palace of Science, excursion visits, teaching, extracurricular and other educational activities. In the field of higher education, cooperation will contribute to the creation of conditions for the development of research centers at faculties in Serbia.
„I believe that the Palace of Science will inspire many to follow the path of science and discover their talents and that many young scientists will assert themselves and change the world with their knowledge, as Tesla, Milanković, and Pupin did. Primary and secondary school students will have the opportunity to attend various camps and programs that will contribute to the development of their talents, but also improve the educational process, as well as extracurricular activities. Cooperation with higher education institutions will further strengthen young researchers, creating space for future generations that will shape our scientific scene," said Prof. Slavica Đukić Dejanović, PhD., Minister of Education in the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
