The Palace of Science – Miodrag Kostić Endowment has published its annual report for 2025, covering its first year of operation. During the first 12 months, the Palace of Science was visited by more than 100,000 people, including over 20,000 students. More than 140 events were held, while the planetarium — the Palace of Science's spherical cinema — attracted over 25,000 viewers. The most-watched screenings were "Dinosaurs: A Story of Survival" and "The Guide to Constellations and Planets."

At the same time, representatives from 20 research centers of ETF and RTS, located within the Palace of Science, published more than 100 papers in international scientific journals and at conferences. During the year, the Palace of Science won six awards, including the gold IPMA award and the national "Đorđe Vajfert" award, as well as an award at the Salon of Architecture, which recognized the significance of the restoration project of the former Adriatic-Danube Bank building and its transformation into the Palace of Science.

Two thematic exhibitions drew particular public attention — "Sharks," developed in collaboration with the American Museum of Natural History in New York, and "More Than a Game," in partnership with the organization Play, both of which brought scientific and social topics closer to a wider audience through an interactive approach.

One of the key events was also the return of the TEDxBelgrade conference, which — after a hiatus of almost ten years — was once again held at the Palace of Science, bringing together speakers from the worlds of science, art, sport, and the creative industries.

Throughout the year, significant partnerships were established with institutions such as the Center for the Promotion of Science, the Swedish Embassy, and the French Institute, through numerous pop-up exhibitions and free lectures. The L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science program marked its anniversary at the Palace of Science, and a collaboration with Mastercard was launched on the Girls4Tech project.

"The results of the past year clearly show that when science steps out of the laboratory and becomes part of everyday experience — more than 100,000 visitors is not a surprise, but a logical outcome. The Palace of Science is a place where the world of science is discovered in a fun, interactive, and educational way, and we are especially delighted by the large number of children and young people among our visitors," said Nemanja Đorđević, Director of the Miodrag Kostić Endowment.

In 2026, the Palace of Science continues to develop its programs. A new exhibition space, the S.E.F. Gallery, opened with the exhibition "Memory Bank," and a new family film, "The Great Adventure Through the Solar System!," has joined the planetarium's program. Also planned are a new edition of the TEDxBelgrade conference, a new thematic exhibition, and numerous pop-up events.
